The DMCI - www.thedmci.com.au - The DMC Initiative designed three idents for FOX Classics channel, each revealing a series of classic movies with only stylised designs and creative transitions. Each 30-second brand spot interprets the films, grouped into similar themes – Epics, Classics and Greats – by extracting the most memorable components from short clips and tying them together in an orange-and-white package. They looked for new ways to represent very well-known titles and then developed visual ways to connect them. To add depth to environments, they created stylised layers and forced perspective with objects or elements positioned to camera, overcoming the limited palette.
